ARM AEROSPACE’S AERO-LIFT PROVES MECHANIC-FRIENDLY

Tucson, AZ – Several FBOs have installed Aero-Lifts in their shops and are finding they not only enhance shop safety and comfort, but they provide increased efficiency and higher quality work. It is a lesson learned a long time ago in the automobile industry. An Aero-Lift, manufactured by ARM Aerospace, can lift a single engine as high as 10 feet off the floor, providing easy access to lower engine compartments, landing gear, antenna installations and aircraft bellies.

Originally designed to double the storage capacity of aircraft hangars, by providing a stacking option, Aero-Lift owners are finding a variety of applications for the lifts in shop environments.

It is estimated that with an Aero-Lift, the time required for stripping, prepping and painting an aircraft will be cut by 33 percent. Annual inspection times can be cut by up to 20 percent, by eliminating the use of creepers, kneeling, or forcing mechanics to lie on their backs to access inspection holes, especially with low wing aircraft.

This can result in higher profit margins for FBOs and paint shops. It also reduces the risk of injury and the possibility of mistakes due to poor sight lines. In this environment, an Aero-Lift investment would soon be covered.

In its original mission, ARM Aerospace provides High Density Hangar (HDH) solutions for individuals and commercial applications. ARM’s solutions allow General Aviation aircraft to be “racked and stacked,” which dramatically increases the number of aircraft that can be accommodated in existing hangars. The Aero-Lift and accessories can accommodate almost any type of single engine GA aircraft or helicopter. ARM Aerospace is headquartered in Tucson, AZ and maintains a presence on the web at www.armaerospace.com. Their phone number is 520.886.7329.
